What does Nine Kites do?

Nine Kites is a technology consultancy. We help startups, scale-ups and established companies decide where technology pays, then build it, modernise the systems underneath it and help teams adopt it. One named lead stays with you from strategy to support.

Who do you work with?

We work with startups, scale-ups and established businesses in Asia Pacific, the UK and the US, across manufacturing, distribution and B2B, financial services, consumer and digital, and healthcare.

How do you price a project?

Projects have a fixed price, scoped with you before we start. In the second week we agree a plan with one outcome you can measure, and the price covers that plan. Fractional CTO and ongoing support are a monthly fee. Forward deployed teams are monthly, like fractional CTO.

How quickly will we see working software?

Usually within weeks. We spend the first week listening to your leaders and teams, the second shaping the plan, and weeks three to five building working software in your environment, shown to you every week.

What is an agentic software factory?

It is how we build. AI agents write the code, tests and documentation; senior engineers set the intent, review every change and own every release. You get working software sooner with a smaller team, and a person is accountable for what ships.

Can you put AI agents to work in our business?

Yes. We usually start with one agent pilot on a task your team repeats every day, built in your own cloud with clear guardrails. We then train your people and set the rules that make it stick.

Can you connect our systems to ChatGPT, Claude or Copilot?

Yes. We build MCP servers that let AI assistants read from and act on your apps and legacy systems, including older ones without modern APIs. Each agent gets only the access you approve, sensitive actions need a person's sign-off, every call is logged, and your data stays in your own environment.

Which AI models and tools do you work with?

We're model-agnostic: Claude, OpenAI, Gemini and open models, picked per job on cost, accuracy and where your data can go. We build with retrieval (RAG) over your own documents, connect agents to your systems through MCP, and test every agent with evaluations and guardrails before it goes live, so it works in production, not just in a demo.

What happens after you deliver?

Every release comes with a warranty period. After that we can stay on to run and improve what we built until your team takes over.

Can you act as our fractional CTO?

Yes. We provide senior technology leadership part-time, for as long as you need it: setting direction, guiding your team and hiring, without the cost of a full-time hire.

Can your engineers work inside our team?

Yes. Our forward deployed teams join yours, work on your systems and data, and own one result, such as pricing off spreadsheets or an agent handling order intake. They ship with your people and hand over when your team can run it. Billed monthly, scaled up or down as the work needs.
